It's a great story....
Lauren's boy, Zachary, was starting
Kindergarten, but was reading at a much higher
level. During testing, he was given a book that's
designed to 'trip children up' because words are
wrong.
After a serious conversation about school one
evening followed up by joking about the pugs,
Lauren got the idea to change nursery rhymes
and make a book. So, she combined the
family's love of pugs with childhood stories to
create books that encourage reading while
challenging a more 'advanced' reader.
And, there you have it in a nutshell- the Mother
Pug Nursery Rhyme story.
